Where is the hope?

We know that it looks like a decade of decay. The rupee is at its lowest. Corruption is the epitome of omnipresence. Certain factions are trying to tear the country further apart. States fighting for rivers. Not an iota of a nice thing.

Is that all? Are we finished yet?

I really dont't think so.

The hope is in those corners of the country where the sun shines, literally and in the minds of the people.

The hope is in our villages where every morning, a worker starts his day with the hope that he will get back home with some money and produce food for at least 10 families.

The hope is in those schools where the kids put up with lack of basic infrastructure and yet manage to learn to grow strong and wise.

The hope is in the eyes of those kids in art schools that burn with passion and the urge to leave an indelible mark in the pages of history with their beautiful creations.

The hope is in the hands of that sweeper in the city who wakes up hoping that his territory was the same way he left it after work the previous day.

The hope is in the minds of those law-abiding citizens who refuse to pay a bribe at any cost.

The hope is in the act of personalities like Durga who refuse to budge for any political pressures.

The hope is in the spirit of those umpteen youth that cry with louder voices at the India Gate demanding justice for a person that is actually a complete stranger.

There is a still a lot of hope left in a billion hearts. We will rock the World soon!
